Our Company
Tajo's Tushy's, Tajo Wear, Ammee Jaan & Eco-Dia Baby are owned & operated under Immish Designs by my husband and myself. I am a WAHM of three with two home schooling kiddos and a new little baby boy. I own and operate our company as well as prepare our diapers, clothing, slings & accessories within my home in Pearland, Texas.
As a mom of three I am always searching for wonderful products for my babies and now yours as well! Our products come from many different areas around the world such as Pakistan, China, Japan, and the US. I am working hard to find the very best there is at reasonable cost for all of you. Baby items can be very costly and as most Cloth Diapering moms know, cost is one of the biggest draws to Cloth Diapering to begin with! Our AI2's and Pockets are currently being produced in China through a very small factory of no more than 50 workers (at their busiest time of year). Our Eco-Dia products are being produced in Pakistan through a small factory that my husband and I found. We work closely with each company and know that they strive for excellence and at the same time work very hard to take care of their workers so that they are working under the very best situations!
When it comes to making decisions about our company, our diapers, ring slings & clothing I am very hands on because I want the very best for your family & mine. As a busy mother of three I wouldn't recommend or sell a product that I myself had not tested and be currently using on my own little one. Tajo's Tushy's and Eco-Dia Products in particular have been thoroughly tested for comfort, longevity, absorbency, ease of use & we cannot forget style by our own little Taj.
About Us
The newest little addition to our family, Taj, is what sparked the decision to bring our diapers to all of you. It all began 13 years ago with my oldest son and trying to use Gerber prefolds and stretchy covers that I had found at a local baby store to 6 years ago, with my daughter, still using these prefolds & covers. I attempted making my own diapers at the time but Cloth Diapering materials were not readily available then...or not at least that I found! But it was an adventure and helped me now when creating our diapers. Honestly 6 years ago I probably just did not do the research really needed and so I had no clue what wonderful diapers were out there. This brings us to now with Taj on the way I knew I didn't want to go the disposable route and I stumbled upon cloth diapering through friends of mine. When I discovered modern cloth diapers I was beyond thrilled. I read everything I could read and I watched every YouTube video I could find during my sleepless nights up with heartburn. At first I remember being so confused since there are so many different brands, styles, & terminology and to top it off is not always consistent from site to site. I quickly began building my stash with many, many, many different brands & styles trying to become familiar with what everything was and to see what I liked best. My favorite at first was the one size, for obvious reasons, it grows with your baby and my son was to going be no less than 8lbs so as much as I wanted a newborn stash I didn't feel I would get much use out of it. My favorite style was the pocket since I was in more control of the absorbency since I could add more inserts. As my stash grew I began to understand sized diapers, fitteds, AIO's, AI2's & why people love them so much. I learned the difference with inserts.... microfiber, minky, bamboo, hemp... etc. But no matter which diaper I bought it was either not very cute, or the elastic was too tight & left marks, or it was too hard to adjust the size, some were extremely bulky through the legs, some just leaked literally from day 1, and others were just too expensive to try to build an entire stash with. And anyone with a boy knows that cute boy prints or boy colored solids even are the hardest thing to find much less ones that works well also. I felt like Goldilocks stuck in the bears house. What I wanted just didn't exist. I was determined to come up with something that would work the way I wanted it to. After testing different snaps, PUL, hook and loop, all the different insert fabrics available (and yes I pretty much had it all) I finally came up with one that worked exactly as I wanted it to & Tajo's Tushy's Pockets were born! It took a lot of trial and error to find a diaper that worked in all aspects. No one knows how happy I am that we have been able to bring our diapers to all of you! I look forward to working with each and every mom on this journey in creating and finding the very best products for all of our precious little babies.
